Bhagwan Kirshna Ne Arjun Ko Apna Virat Swaroop Kyon Dikhaya? 

सन्त सत्पुरूष ही आत्मपरायण तथा इस तत्व के पूर्णतया जानने वाले होते हैं, परन्तु वे आत्मा के इस भेद को उन जिज्ञासुओं पर ही प्रकट करते हैं जिनको कि इसके विषय में जानने की प्रबल इच्छा होती है।

इसी प्रसंग में ही अर्जुन को भगवान ने गीता के ग्यारहवें अध्याय में यह ज्ञान दिया कि सब भूतप्राणी मेरे ही उपजाये हुए हैं। यह देह अनित्य तथा आत्मा नित्य है। ज्ञान, कर्मयोग तथा अन्यान्य पद्धतियों से समझाया कि आत्मा जो जीव का वास्तविक स्वरूप है, वह आत्मा मैं हूं। सूर्य, चांद, तारागण तथा संसार के सकल पदार्थों की आभा आत्मा का ही चमत्कार है। तब अर्जुन के दिल में यह सब सुनकर इसे देखने की उत्कण्ठा जागृत हुई। उसने विनय की - प्रभो! मैं उस स्वरूप को देखना चाहता हूं। तब श्री भगवान ने कहा-

देख नहीं सकता तू अर्जुन, प्राकृत आंखों से वह रूप।

दिव्य दृष्टि देता हूं, तुझको, देखेगा मम दिव्य स्वरूप।।

ऐ अर्जुन! तू मेरे उस विराट् स्वरूप को इन बाह्य चक्षुओं से नहीं देख सकता। अतः मैं तुझे वह दिव्य चक्षु प्रदान करता हूं जिसके द्वारा तू मेरे उस दिव्य स्वरूप को देख पायेगा। तब भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने अर्जुन को दिव्य दृष्टि प्रदान की जिससे उसने भगवान के दिव्य स्वरूप को देखा। उस स्वरूप को देखने के पश्चात् उसके मन से अज्ञान-तिमिर का आवरण हट गया और उसे यह ज्ञान हो गया कि देह क्षणभंगुर तथा आत्मा नित्य है।

इसी प्रकार सत्पुरूष भी समय-समय पर यही उपदेश देकर जीवों को जागरूक करते हैं कि आत्म-दृष्टि खोलो। जब तक आत्म-तत्व का ज्ञान नहीं होता तब तक जीव यदि यह चाहे कि उसे अज्ञानता से मुक्ति प्राप्त हो जाये, तो यह नितान्त असम्भव है। आत्म-तत्व की पहचान करने के लिये शारीरिक सुख-उपभोगों का सर्वथा त्याग करने की आवश्यकता नहीं। सत्पुरूष तो ऐसी युक्ति बतलाते हैं। जिससे दैहिक तथा आत्मिक-दोनों ही काम बनें। वे जीव को कर्तव्य-पथ दर्शा देते हैं कि मानुष-जन्म का सर्वोत्कृष्ट लक्ष्य क्या है? जो प्राणी उसे अक्षरशः आचरण करते हैं, वे इस परम दुर्लभ आत्म-बोध को प्राप्त कर कृतकृत्य हो जाते हैं।

Saint saints are self-possessed and fully aware of this element, but they reveal this distinction of the soul only to those curious who have a strong desire to know about it.

It was in this context that God gave Arjun the knowledge in the eleventh chapter of the Gita that all the ghosts were born of me. This body is eternal and soul is eternal. Through knowledge, karmayoga and other methods, I explained that the soul which is the true form of the living being is the soul. The aura of the sun, moon, stars and the gross matter of the world is a miracle of the soul. Hearing all this in Arjun's heart, he was awakened to see it. He pleaded - God! I want to see that look. Then Mr. Bhagavan said-

You cannot see Arjuna, that form with natural eyes.

I will give you divine vision, you will see the divine form.

Hey Arjun! You are not that vast form of me with these external eyes Can see So I give you that divine eye Through you you will be able to see that divine form of me. Then Lord Krishna gave Arjuna a divine vision so that He saw the divine form of God. To see that form After that, the cover of ignorance-blackness removed from his mind and he It has become known that the body is fleeting and the soul is eternal. In the same way, Satpurus, from time to time, by giving this sermon, make the creatures aware that open self-sight. Until the knowledge of the self-element is there, it is absolutely impossible if the organism wants it to be freed from ignorance. There is no need to give up physical pleasure and consumption to identify the self-essence. Satpurts are telling such tactics. So that both personal and spiritual work can be made. They show the path of duty to the organism that what is the best goal of human birth? The beings who conduct it literally, they get gratitude by attaining this ultimate rare self-realization.
